We support parents and school staff throughout the program. Individual and group parent meetings are held to provide emotional support, reduce feelings of isolation, understand their perspectives, address challenging relationships, and connect them with community resources. Continued support is available as parents implement the action plan post-program.
Teachers, principals, REACH staff, and other relevant personnel are also involved. We seek their insights to prioritize the student's needs, address challenging relationships with parents, all while providing emotional support to them as well. Teachers collaborate with Nissa staff to provide academic assignments for the students during their time at the Assessment Pad.
We believe that everyone wants each student to not only survive but thrive.
Through one-on-one and collaborative group meetings, we work together to identify the root of the problem, set priorities, and create a comprehensive plan with both short- and long-term goals that will work for all those involved to ensure success in school and beyond.
